DUKAT Labs

Real needs. Real solutions. Let’s build together.

You know what could work better. Bring us a need or an idea, and let’s explore what we can build together. Dukat connects your experience with technology and business expertise to turn real needs into useful products.

Needs worth addressing

Products built together

Businesses that address real needs

From experience to opportunity

Real needs are the starting point for products and businesses we build together.

You know the work. You see where time is lost, systems fall short or teams keep finding workarounds. That experience can be the starting point for a useful product.

Ideas for building useful solutions are welcome here. DUKAT Labs connects the needs and ideas you identify with the expertise to assess them, develop technology products and explore a viable business. You can contribute your experience and help build solutions that are useful to more than one organisation.

You don’t need a product idea or a finished solution to start a conversation. Begin with the need you’ve identified and who it affects.

Building together

Dukat connects the need with the solution.

01

Understand the opportunity

Explore who shares that need, how they address it today and what would make a new product useful.

02

Shape the product

Define a focused solution and assess what it would take to design, develop and test it.

03

Explore the business

Assess potential customers, routes to market and the resources needed to take the next step.

This initiative is taking shape. We begin by listening, assessing needs and exploring opportunities. Resources, funding, roles and any potential participation would be agreed case by case before joint development begins.

A clear first step

Start with a conversation.

01

Tell us

Describe a need or idea that could make everyday work easier, or tell us how you would like to contribute.

02

Explore

We discuss the need, your experience and whether there is a wider opportunity.

03

Assess

Before collaborating, we review feasibility, intellectual property and the professional obligations of both the contributor and Dukat.

04

Agree next steps

If there is a fit, we define the validation plan and collaboration terms.

Let’s talk

A need, an idea or a question. You can be part of it.

Tell us about a need, share an idea or tell us how you would like to contribute. Let’s explore what we can build together.

Please describe challenges in general terms. Do not share confidential information, client documents, code or materials created under a client contract.

Before you reach out

A few useful answers.

Do I need a prototype or business plan?

Open

No. You can start with a clear description of the need you’ve identified and the people or organisations it affects. We can explore possible solutions together.

Can I participate while working for a client?

Open

It depends on your role, contracts and any required authorisations, as well as Dukat’s obligations as a provider. We would review these before agreeing a collaboration. An initial enquiry is not an approval to undertake outside activities.

What happens to my proposal?

Open

The first step is a general discussion of the need you’ve identified. Any joint development, use of contributed materials, ownership or potential participation would need a specific agreement.

Can I get involved without an idea of my own?

Open

Yes. Register your interest and tell us about your product, technology or business experience and the contribution you would like to make.

Does Dukat commit to funding or developing every proposal?

Open

No. The first step is to assess the need and explore whether a collaboration makes sense. Any resources, funding, roles or participation would require a specific agreement.

What if I already have a product?

Open

We can explore whether a collaboration, licensing or distribution arrangement could fit. An existing product needs a different assessment from a new product idea, including rights and professional obligations.
